Our cats enjoy your wet and dry food. The only thing that would be better if it came in a smaller tin. Obviously a dog will eat a whole tin in one go, we have 2 cats and we decant a tin at a time into pots to put in the fridge and freezer as 1 tin lasts more than one day.

This is good food!
We are not vegan, but stopped eating meat and fish ourselves several years ago. We didn’t feel it would be right to try enforce a fully vegan diet on our dogs that have previously always had a varied diet, including animal products, so we gave Benevo a go.
Two of our four dogs ploughed into it, no issues with what came out, either! The third dog is always take it or leave it, especially with new food of any kind, but she will also happily eat it if she’s in the right mood, again, with no nasty side effects the next day.
Fourth dog, so far, not interested, but we’ll persevere!
Our aim – to at least cut down on the amout of animal based products we were collectively consuming, and if we can get them onto Benevo for every other meal, I think we will have made progress.

My dog has tried all of the vegan wet food brands. He likes Benevo Duo the best.

I’m still transitioning my cats over to this food. I’m having to mix it with crushed cat treats to encourage them to eat it, but they’re getting there. I think the smell is a problem for them; it’s not appealing.

Hi Montoya, thanks for the comment. If only they could talk eh! 🙂 You are doing the right thing – the longer the transition the greater the success. You could try a dab of tomato puree stirred in or some nutritional yeast flakes with a splash of warm water to add extra aroma which helps stimuate eating (that goes for most animals, including humans!) If you need any further help contact us at [email protected] 🙂

Monty’s a Beagle-mix, nearly 10, and has the energy of a 3 year old. He loves this food! Makes me very happy to see him licking the bowl clean
