Where our pioneering journey starts
2004
It became apparent to vegans, Damian and Darrell, that the last meat in most veggie households was the meat that their pets were eating. To alleviate those pet parents of that ethical dilemma, they decided to launch the first ethical and meat-free pet food to be made in the UK.
Independent innovators
Working independently we could apply our knowledge and ethics without having to please shareholders. After a year of research and development we launched Benevo Dog and Benevo Cat as a solution to the ethical problem.
